Willkommen - Bienvenue - Welcome

In jedem Falle: Viel Vergnügen hier!
Eure Ramirez

Santas Reindeer

The card mass production is still running as you can see. ;)

This time I chose to use my little Rudolf to go - sorry: jump - along with the sketch of Stempeleinmaleins which comes with the Christmas theme. Also tried to do the Bingo at Stempelmagie but they did not explain the game so I just guessed that I have to match three of the nine options - this would be "Red & Green", "Christmas or New Year" and "Lace". Hope I got it right...

Well then, last candle is burning. Christmas gets closer. I better hurry to get some more cards and tags done.

Stripey Christmas

And the last of my latest works - made with the sketch of Night Shift Stamping (the sites title could  just as well be my idea... ;)) and the card will also join the challenge of Stempelsonne (and therefore make up for the missed "Christmas Tree" one) which is "Anything Goes".

My newest find is the Charisma Cardz Challenge and since this truely all is last minute, I'll join it right away with this card!

So that's it for today. Hope I'll manage a few more cards the next days - and definitely join Jingle Bells now so I will have a certain stock next year. Taking the pressure out of cardmaking for at least one holiday...

Happy 4th Advent! :)

O Christmas Tree...

Even after being away for such a long time, my luck with me and my challenges keeps going. I missed the "Christmas Tree" one by Stempelsonne but since the new one is "Anything Goes" I might just join that one instead (with another card though).

But still, this card has been inspired by the sketch of Fun with shapes and more and it is also mainly red, so I join the challenge of Stampavie and more with it as well.

More is just the subject - coz I was a busy bee so there is more to come...

Challenge 4 Fun

Since I do not find that blue is a chrismassy colour but wanted to try the combination of the Colour Create challenge, I just figured I'd make a wedding card. Not that anyone gets married around here soon....ooops or is there...? ;)

So I took the cute sketch of Sketch N Stash and thought, that lace is something I could easily do with my border stamp (hope that's ok) to also join the challenge of Stempelträume.

Et voilà, that's something NOT Christmas... But to be honest: It does not really feel right at the moment.

'Tis the Season...

... so I found my way back to my handcrafting desk, even if that one is not anything near organized after the big housemoving. But Christmas does not wait for me, does it?

The first card is done. Got inspired by the great sketch of Mojo Monday, so of course I join their challenge with it.
It obviously has the Christmas/Advent theme, which matches with the challenges of Take Time for You and Kreative Stempelfreunde.

And finally, I chose the card to be in only one colour which allows me to also join the challenges of Cards and More and Papertake Weekly.

Now the only thing left to know is: Which person will be the lucky one to actually find it in their mailbox... Stays a secret... HoHoHo...

My friend EDIT has something to say too: I found a great challenge site: Jingle Belles. They do Christmas card challenges all year long! That idea is so great that I want to join - and out of my three cards this week I'd like to throw in this one...

Attack of the Pirates

As we handcrafty Mummys are: We have to do the "special thing" when the little ones turn a year older. So - after promising myself last years to NOT go through this much hassle again - I made individual cards for every kid. Although I did copy the coloured-in stamps and with those copies I can make individual cup-collars too. EXITING!!!

Well, here are the invitation cards:

Long time project

Have been away for a while, working on a few projects. One of them - the biggest I have made so far - had to be finished now. So I did.

I have to say that I really am proud of it... Well, have a look...

(Sorry, the pictures are very small. Took a picture of every page and pulled the tags out. It is a zigzag-foldet multipocket book so you can turn the back cover around and keep on turning pages back to the front cover. Hope you can see it - it is 6 pixs in the first collage and 7 in the second one.)

>>Edit says: Just found out that I can actually choose the size of the picture upload - well, some things just take a bit longer... *whistling*

I used lots of paper by bo bunnys and simple A5 envelopes for the book plus press-carton for the cover. Found the "how-to" on UTube and had to try it.

Also tried those two-sided-pull-tags (which do not work too well, I have to say, I might have made the inside too tight) and did lots and lots of distressing watercolour-style with the mini-mister. Exept for the square one all the big tags are simply bought, the small ones are partly from a set, partly selfmade. Since I do not have a line-stamp I made the lines on the tags using the edge of a small acrylic block. Simply tapped the long edge into distress ink and then partly used a ruler to get them straight along the tag.

Masterpieces are the numbers and letters on the front cover, where I sprinkled normal salt into the still hot embossing "powder" on the cardboard pieces, then let it dry and rubbed the salt off again. Distressed it afterwards - and that's what it looks like. Awesome!

A long time ago...

... in a galaxy not too far away I started making some cards again. Was a bit busy doing other stuff but birthdays do not wait for that, do they?

Since every second challenge does the Valentine theme at the mo which simply is not mine this year, I only went with the sketch of Stempelmagie this time. It's the sketch plus recipe of flowers, ribbon and buttons. Although the button was quite an extra challenge (since I do not have any - yet).

The outcome is the b-day card for my boys best friend (who is a girl of course...). It also contains the first stamp that I coloured in with my watercolour pencils:
